For this recipe I’ve combined mango with a bunch of spices—curry powder, cumin, coriander and chili powder. Curry powder is a mixture of spices developed by the Brit’s. It was developed so they could take the taste of Indian flavors home. This sauce melts in your mouth, the spices give the mango a nice jolt of flavor to counteract the sweetness and softness of the mango. I made this spicy mango curry sauce recipe for a dinner party, and served it alongside cod. It was delicious, sweet, and spicy. An exotic twist.
